The Brief

Jorge Ickes is a blogger, and teacher based in San Francisco, California. She needs a website to express her thoughts and blog over the internet. This will help her build credibility online and eventually will make her a recurring income by writing and promotions.

She has a current website and wants to have her own domain and URL (without “.wordpress.” in it). Also, she wants to gather email addresses to send newsletters to her audience.

The Approach

With these in mind, I follow her look-and-feel preference for her branding and set-up an easy onboarding for her website. 

In addition to the main goal, she needs to write blogs on her website. So to help her out, she needs instructions on how to use her website. 

Also all necessary back-end functions are needed such as email lead capture tools, analytics and anti-spam features are added to her website.
